A1:
Storage manufacturers calculate capacity using the decimal (base-10) system, where
1 KB = 1000 Bytes, 1 MB = 1000 KB, and 1 GB = 1000 MB.
However, operating systems calculate capacity using the binary (base-2) system, where
1 KB = 1024 Bytes, 1 MB = 1024 KB, and 1 GB = 1024 MB.
As a result, the actual available capacity displayed by the operating system will be lower than the labeled capacity, which is a normal phenomenon. Additionally, some space is occupied at the factory by pre-installed data such as drivers, security software, and identification information. Therefore, the usable capacity is typically about 90% of the labeled capacity.
A2:
The theoretical read/write speeds are based on results obtained using CrystalDiskMark 8.0 under controlled laboratory conditions.
The post-cache write speed refers to the write speed after the product’s SLC cache has been fully utilized. Actual read/write performance may vary depending on usage conditions and environment.
Some smartphones or tablets are equipped with USB 2.0 interfaces, which cannot reach the maximum performance of this product. The advertised speeds and actual performance may vary depending on host device configuration, operating environment, port type, file type, file size, and other factors.
A3:
Transfer speeds depend on the host device’s USB interface, the size of the files being copied, the internal drive speed of the computer, and the operating system.
Read and write speeds may vary under different usage conditions, which is normal.
To achieve optimal performance, the product must be connected to a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. If the measured speed is around 40MB/s, the device is likely connected to a USB 2.0 port.
A4:
When copying a single large file, the system only needs to create one file index.
When copying a large number of small files, the system must create an index for each file, which takes more time.
Additionally, running multiple tasks simultaneously increases system load, which may cause channel congestion and reduced transfer speeds.
A5:
Please back up important data during use.
If a product quality issue occurs and falls within the warranty policy, official after-sales service will provide repair or replacement of the device. However, data recovery services are not included, and we are not responsible for data loss.
If a replacement is required, the defective product must be returned. Please back up your data in advance, as data stored on returned products will not be retained. We appreciate your understanding.
A6:
(1) It is recommended to use this product with iPhone 15 or later models equipped with a USB-C port. iPhone 14 series and earlier models with a Lightning port are not compatible. If using a Lightning adapter, there may be risks of recognition failure or unstable connection. Please purchase with caution.
(2) If using a non-magnetic phone case, the enclosure may not attach securely to the phone. Please use a MagSafe-compatible magnetic case or attach the included magnetic ring to your phone case.
